How does CCI work in the shop?

CCI provides a proven process to train basic collision repair skills to entry-level technicians. This program focuses on the most important skills needed for entry-level techs to be successful working in a collision repair center. Skills include dent repair, plastic repair, removing and installing body trim, replacing parts, corrosion protection, sanding and paint preparation, mixing and applying primers, color-sanding and buffing, detailing vehicles, and much more.

What training does CCI offer beyond basic skills? 

 Besides basic skills 1) Disassembly/ Reassembly, 2) Minor Dent Repair, 3) Plastic Repair, 4) Replace and Align Parts, 5) Paint Preparation, and 6) Automotive Detailing; CCI provides advanced skills for technician training in Setup and 3D Measuring, Structural Damage Analysis and Repair; Automotive Welding; for Painters Paint Defects: Causes and Cures, Mix and Apply Paint; for Repair Planners and Damage Appraisers: the same courses as Repair Planners except replace Blueprinting and Production Management with Auto Insurance Damage Appraisal and Fraud Detection. 

How does CCI help Career & Technical Schools? 

CCI provides free access to their entire online catalog of courses; an Instructor Guide, and Student Skills-Tracker Workbooks for instructors and students. Online materials include presentations, how-to videos, textbooks, electronic handouts, tests, and quizzes. CCI has sequenced all teaching materials around the six basic skills and provides access to all their advanced courses. Educators following detailed lesson plans and utilizing the CCI Skills-Tracker Workbook will produce graduates with verifiable skills that help students successfully transition into the workforce. 

What does CCI offer for an insurance appraiser?

CCI helps insurance appraisers develop damage analysis skills, computer estimating skills, and expand their capabilities through a series of courses that include: Handling Parts, Damage Analysis and Estimating, Enhanced Estimating, and Structural Damage Analysis, Auto Damage Appraisal and Fraud Detection and Prevention.
