CCI guides each Apprentice through the skills they need to be successful by combining online learning with on-the-job training. The program contains all the skills outlined in the ASE/NATEF Task list. Each course includes self-paced learning plus on the job training led by a trainer in an affiliated repair center. Each module of learning is reviewed by a Training Manager in an online environment.

Our Process 

CCI guides each Apprentice through the skills they need to be successful by combining online learning with on-the-job training. The program contains all the skills outlined in the ASE/NATEF Task list. Each course includes self-paced learning plus on the job training led by a trainer in an affiliated repair center. Each module of learning is reviewed by a Training Manager in an online environment.

Basic skills

CCI approaches training from the inside out. The first 4-6 week Boot Camp introduces apprentices to the industry in a 360 approach. Apprentices experience every angle of the repair process and whether a technician, painter, or repair planner, finish basic skills with tools in hand, working on cars.

Online Learning

 Online training is a combination of industry recognized self-paced online courses and semi-monthly webinars from a highly qualified Training Manager. Online training is throughout the program and is designed to reinforce what each apprentice is learning in the shop.

On the Job Training 

On-the-Job Training allows the apprentice to earn while they learn.. Apprentices work in a repair center daily with a qualified Trainer and current employee of the business they are working for. CCI provides the Road Map for the in-shop Trainer to allow apprentices to learn the skills they need to succeed as a Technician, Estimator or Painter. CCI guides repair centers with tools to track and measure the transfer of skills as well as provide resources on how to help each apprentice produce more than they cost within 90 days of their program start.

Some trainees can "Fast Track" their apprenticeship by having their skills validated, and then proceed with only the content representing "Gaps" in their skills development, thereby reducing training costs and total time to complete their apprenticeship.

For Shops

CCI provides a proven process to train basic collision repair skills to entry-level technicians. This program focuses on the most important skills needed for entry-level techs to be successful working in a collision repair center. Skills include dent repair, plastic repair, removing and installing body trim, replacing parts, corrosion protection, sanding and paint preparation, mixing and applying primers, color-sanding and buffing, detailing vehicles, and much more.
